"My so called life"

Today I watched "my so called life", and it made me think if my life were like hers. She changed all her friends along with her hair, and she is kind of taking her parents for granted. In the episode we watched, she went to a party, and lied to her parents. When i looked at all the things that she did i noticed that her and i are nothing alike. I would never change my hair, and I still have the same friends as last year, but i also have new friends, and i never think that i would lie to my parents. In conclusion we are total opposites.

Here's a suggestion: Think of the hair as a symbol- of change, of rebellion, of confusion- as a visual cue, it's more translatable to the small screen than, say, a teenager quietly questioning the religious values of her parents.

Are you telling me that you'll be the exact same person on graduation day 2011 as you were when you first walked through Gunderson's doors in August of last year? I think if you dig a little, you may find a theme or two that ties your life to MSCL. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but I do, as always, ask you to keep an open mind.
