Onomatopoeia, that is a very nice word. So I asked this girl next to me what I should write about again, and she replied, with the wonderful word onomatopoeia. This word is a very difficult word to spell, we both just kept on guessing how on earth would you spell it. Anyways, I remember in the ninth grade learning about this word, and I remember loving to say it, it just rolls off the tongue. I think that the word means a word that sounds like what it means, kind of like boom I think. Oh yeah that reminds me of that one word that I used to like to say, oxymoron, I have no idea what that word means though. Well see ya later alligator.

Yeah it's a tongue twister all right. Words like sizzle, "boom", and yelp describe onomatopoeia. You know I think that oxymoron is when you combine two contradictory terms like; falsely true, deafening silence, or happily sad. They kind of contradict each other!!!!
I love that word!!
